WRD Regional Education Centers and Go Fish Center
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division, operates Regional Education Centers throughout the state. All provide learning opportunities and field trips focusing on wildlife and ecology.
Youth Birding Competition
This 24-hour birding event is held annually in spring. The competition allows teams (representing schools, Scout troops, 4-H club, science clubs, etc.) to compete with other teams their age and count as many species of birds as they can in Georgia.<br />
